World Mental Health Day
The mere fact that we have a World Mental Health Day is in many ways a great achievement. But has its greatest impact been to raise awareness?

Researchers and clinicians agree that one out of two people will experience some form of mental challenge at some point in their lives.  If you ask me, haven’t the stresses and traumas of the last two years made most of us aware of the importance of good mental health and sensitive to how fragile it can sometimes be?

I truly and deeply now wish for action, communication and connection between the many good initiatives but also between individuals who have gained such wisdom through their lived experience. A great thank you to Martin Wilson who took it upon himself to make the film Pieces.  For all those who struggle with what is mental illness, this film illustrates the journey and struggles with beauty and hope. This is why Meeting for Minds exists.
