PERTH – rTMS

Fields of
Dreams – how
magnets move
the mind

rTMS (repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) induces electrical current flow in specifically targeted areas of the brain and this has been shown to improve the condition of people suffering from clinical depression. Why and how this happens isn’t exactly clear.

Join the research team at Perron Institute W.A. and their PLEX Research Partners as they seek to unravel the underlying mechanisms of this effect and explore the promising developments for people with lived experience of mental illness.
